Is visible light all there is to see in space?

No hard edges

Wavelength changes smoothly — "infrared" fades into "visible" fades into "ultraviolet" with no sharp line, these are just useful labels.

Most bands need space telescopes

Earth's atmosphere blocks most X-rays, gamma rays, and much infrared — a major reason telescopes like Hubble, Chandra, and JWST are in space.
